His hand on my neck felt hotter, and I let out a shaky breath. It was one hell of a fight that I had to put up with myself. Cain Cadell was all sorts of bad. He’s power hungry, his desire for power was almost maddening, and witches were very disposable to him.
“I will never.”
I couldn’t even convince myself with that shaky voice.
